MCP

Connect the Loops MCP server to AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Codex.

The Loops MCP server lets agents work with your Loops account, managing contacts, campaigns, transactional emails, and more.

Amp

Amp CLI does not support the MCP server yet. You can install via the web or desktop app first to access it in the CLI.

1. Add the Loops MCP server

   In the Amp web or desktop app, go to MCP server settings and click + Add MCP Server. Enter the URL https://mcp.loops.so/mcp, and click Connect.

2. Authenticate

   Follow the prompt to sign in to Loops in your browser.

3. Test the connection

   Ask Amp something like “Which Loops teams am I a part of?” to confirm it can reach your account.

ChatGPT

1. Add the Loops plugin

   Go to Plugins and search for Loops or use this direct link:

   • Loops plugin (web)
   • Loops plugin (desktop)
2. Authenticate

   Click Install plugin and follow the prompt to sign in to Loops in your browser.

3. Test the connection

   Ask ChatGPT something like “Which Loops teams am I a part of?” to confirm it can reach your account.

Claude Code CLI

1. Add the Loops MCP server

   claude mcp add loops https://mcp.loops.so --scope user --transport http
   
2. Authenticate

   Run /mcp inside Claude Code and follow the prompt to sign in to Loops in your browser.

3. Test the connection

   Ask Claude something like “Which Loops teams am I a part of?” to confirm it can reach your account.

Claude

1. Open connector settings

   In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors and click Browse connectors.

2. Add the Loops MCP server

   Search for “Loops” and click the + button to the right. Click the Connect or Add to your team button.

3. Authenticate

   Open the connector and follow the prompt to sign in to Loops in your browser.

4. Test the connection

   Ask Claude something like “Which Loops teams am I a part of?” to confirm it can reach your account.

Codex CLI

Make sure to update to Codex CLI v1.48.0 or later.

1. Add the Loops MCP server

   codex mcp add loops --url https://mcp.loops.so
   
2. Authenticate

   Follow the prompt to sign in to Loops in your browser.

3. Test the connection

   In Codex CLI, ask something like “Which Loops teams am I a part of?” to confirm it can reach your account.

OpenCode

Make sure to update to OpenCode v2.0.4 or later.

   opencode mcp add loops --url https://mcp.loops.so
   
2. Authenticate

   opencode mcp auth loops
   

   Follow the prompt to sign in to Loops in your browser.

3. Test the connection

   Ask OpenCode something like “Which Loops teams am I a part of?” to confirm it can reach your account.
